About these terms

These terms apply when you use DeccanStack software or the websites deccanstack.com and deccanstack.in. "DeccanStack", "we" and "us" mean the business that runs DeccanStack from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. "You" means the business or person using DeccanStack.

By creating an account or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cancellation, Refund & Delivery Policy.

What we provide

DeccanStack is online software for small businesses. Depending on your plan, it includes tools for quotations, event and plate planning, bookings, payment tracking and related features described on our website.

We keep improving the software and may change features. We will not remove a main feature of your plan during a period you have already paid for without telling you first.

Your account

• Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
• Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including the actions of staff you add.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

Plans, prices and billing

• Prices are shown in Indian rupees on our pricing page. GST is added to your invoice where the law requires it.
• Monthly plans renew every month and yearly plans renew every year until you cancel.
• If you pay by UPI AutoPay or card mandate, you allow us to charge the plan price on each renewal, up to the maximum amount you approve. You will get a notice before each debit, as RBI rules require.
• If we change our prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before. New prices apply from your next renewal.
• Setup fees, pay-per-event packs and custom builds are billed as quoted to you.

Early access offer

The first five businesses that join get their first month free and pay no setup fee. When the free month ends, the plan you chose is billed unless you cancel before then. We will remind you before the first charge.

Late or failed payments

If a payment fails, we will remind you and give you 7 days to pay. After that we may pause your account until payment is made. We do not delete your data because of a late payment; it is there when your account is active again.

Your data

You own the business data you put into DeccanStack, such as your rates, products, recipes, customers, quotations and bookings. We use it only to run and support the service, as explained in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us for a copy of your data at any time.

Checking your figures

DeccanStack calculates quotations, quantities and totals from the sizes, rates and recipes you enter. Please check the figures before you send a quotation to a customer or buy stock for an event.

We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information entered into the software or by figures that were not checked. If you find a calculation error in the software itself, tell us and we will fix it as quickly as we can.

Fair use

Please do not:

• use DeccanStack for anything illegal or to send spam to your customers;
• try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the software;
• copy, resell or rent out DeccanStack without a written agreement with us.

Availability and support

We work to keep DeccanStack running reliably, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. We will give notice of planned maintenance where we can.

Support is available by email at hello@deccanstack.com and through the channels included in your plan, during business hours in India (IST).

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost business or lost opportunities.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Cancelling and closing accounts

You can cancel at any time, as explained in our Cancellation, Refund & Delivery Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these terms. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you time to fix the problem.

After an account is closed, you can ask for a copy of your data for 30 days. After that it is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and email you about important changes before they apply. If you keep using DeccanStack after a change applies, you accept the updated terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there is a disagreement, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out together. If it cannot be resolved, the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
